This a call to all food lovers and greedy guts Singapore and abroad. 
From 11 to 20 July 2014, join us for a gastronomic trip to Singapore as it celebrates the richness and diversity of their food heritage. 
Singapore Food Festival is a massive draw for locals and visitors and this year will not fail the expectations hungrier. 
For those travelers who can not do food throughout the festival, we have established two itineraries weekend so they can explore the best of local food in Singapore in just three days. 
Come take a stroll down memory lane of India, Nonya to Chinesegastronomies and everything in between. Discover and rejoice in the past dishes, local favorites and modern twist. 
Everything will start at Chinatown Food Street on July 11, but the food frenzy will spread throughout the island, Chinatown and Little India Orchard Road, Sentosaand there. There will be some memorable dining experiences, but places are limited, so read this article and get ready to enjoy the best of the season makan in Singapore.

Singapore Food Festival, also dubbed as SFF this year revolves around five kitchen trends are in Singapore. 
In the newly renovated Chinatown Food Street on Smith Street, the Singapore Chinese Dialect Heritage Feast display up to 20 dishes from the old days, such as paper and baked chicken Hakka noodles Rickshaw, which was the favorite rickshaw drivers. Adding to the ambience of yesteryear, visitors will be received on the day of release by coolies characters Samsui and women, these communities of the past, which formed the initial basis of the labor force in Singapore. Nonya cuisine, which is one of the most vibrant elements of the Peranakan culturewill wander the streets of Singapore's Clark Quay and Orchard Road to VivoCityand AMK Hub. For novices in Singapore, should absolutely register at the ION Orchard Local Food Trail, which takes place only Monday through Friday during the Festival. This is a fantastic opportunity to enjoy free of charge from a series of sampling and Singapore favorite food shows including Kaya toast, Peranakan Kueh, Chili Crab (ION Orchard B4, July 11 and 14 to 18 July 2014, 11.00-11.45 am, 65 6238 8288). 
For a bold take on Singapore local food, head on one level to ION Orchard east Sliders @ ION Orchard. Chef Damian D'Silva came up with some innovative creations with pockets stuffed meatloaf or chicken Rendan Debal, which certainly takes young defenders and street food. Nonya Chicken Satay 
If you prefer to experience the Singapore Food Festival over the weekend due to time or work commitments, we have established two routes long weekend they need to make their stop Singapore from Friday morning until Sunday later. 
Weekend Itinerary 1 (11 to 13 July 2014) 
First day: Friday 11 and Orchard and Chinatown 
11:00 a.m. ION Orchard Trail Local Food (ION Orchard B4, after booking 65 6238 8228) 
24:00 @ ION Orchard ION Orchard east Sliders (ION Orchard B3)
24:30 Enjoy a shopping expedition two hours in Orchard Road. Still the Great Singapore Sale! 
17:30 Having dropped their precious and relaxed a little in his hotel findings, head down to Chinatown for some souvenir hunting and cultural tour. Do not forget to catch up on emails, Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and Pinterest. You can get free Wi-Fi, while strolling through Smith Street, Trengganu Street, Pagoda Street, Sago Street and Kreta Ayer Square. 
19:00 Smith Street, near the Buddha Tooth Relic Temple is the place for gourmands and explore the Singapore Chinese Dialect Heritage Feast. 
21:00 Go for a drink at Club Street and Ann Siang Road and enjoy the great atmosphere of pedestrians as they are closed to traffic on weekends Friday and Saturday from 19:00 until 2am. 
Second Day: Saturday 12th and Little India Sentosa 
8.30 Having a good breakfast at the local way of Tekka Market Place street on the ground floor with the famous roti prata and Teh Tarik Prata Saga Berlada Sambal ((# 01-258). Then further explore the famous wet market. 
10 am on set of Little India is a real treat for the senses, take your time to explore the famous Little Arcade and Mustafa Centre. 
24:30 If there is only one dish to try in Little India this must be the Fish Head Curry. And during the SFF2014, it is complimentary with a minimum expenditure The Banana Leaf Apolo, Jade of India Restaurant, Anjappar Restaurant, Samy Curry and Banana Leaf Indian restaurant Karu. 
14:30 Running Time in Sentosa! After much eating, taking a nap on one of the beaches of Sentosa or go for a fun afternoon. 
18:30 End your day with a romantic sunset dinner on the barbecue beachand give yourself the simple pleasures of life. 
Third day: Sunday 13-Nonya Mobile 
9:00 a.m. After breakfast at a local restaurant or a coffee, go for a morning walk at Fort Canning Park then immerse yourself in the Peranakan culture at the Peranakan Museum, which is right nearby. 
13:00 Discover the cuisine Peranakan Nonya scrumption on mobile also features interactive exhibits and cooking demonstrations and is located in Orchard Road on that day. 

Weekend Itinerary 2 (18 to 20 July 2014) 
First day: Friday, 18 Orchard Road and Little India 
11:00 a.m. ION Orchard Trail Local Food (ION Orchard B4, after booking 65 6238 8228). 
24:00 @ ION Orchard ION Orchard east Sliders (ION Orchard B3). 
24:30 Read the latest fashion trend in Orchard Road and take advantage of the Great Singapore Sale to stock up your wardrobe. 
SFF 2014 15:00 During the best Indian cuisine in the city can be found in the first edition of Suvai 2014 in Little India. There will be plenty of activities, hands-on cooking classes, lectures, live bands and will last well into the night. 
Second Day: Saturday 19 Chinatown and Sentosa 
09 a.m. Local Breakfast at the Chinatown Complex. 
10:00 a.m. Explore the various temples and attractions of Singapore Chinese enclave. 
24:00 last comfort food awaits you at the Singapore Chinese Dialect Heritage Feast. 
14:00 Spend the rest of your day at Sentosa Island with a BBQ dinner by the beach. But if they fail to get your ticket, do not worry you will always find a relaxed and friendly at the beach restaurant to satisfy your hunger. 
Third day: Sunday 20 Eats Peranakan 
9:00 a.m. After breakfast at a local restaurant or a coffee, go for a morning walk at Fort Canning Park then immerse yourself in the Peranakan culture at the Peranakan Museum, which is right nearby. 
13:00 On the weekend, you have no mobile Nonya but still be able to enjoy the Peranakan cuisine either in the True Blue Cuisine, just a few meters away from the museum or directly on the Candlenut kitchen so you can test the ice intrigating Buah Keluak by Chef Malcolm Lee. 

After being food and drink the way to Singapore, it's time to fly back home with a few kilos more under your belt and lots of colorful memories of your trip to Singapore Makan.
